Its central precepts have been represented as drawing on both Eastern and Western Spiritual and unearthly traditions, infusing them with self-help and inspirational psychology, conscious research and Quantum Psychics.
The New Age aims to create a spirituality without borders. It holds to a view that Body, Mind and Soul are inter-related. It believes in both conventional Science and Science that has not been proved yet. New Age includes elements and rituals of older non secular and spiritual traditions. ,The New Age also encloses Science, Astrology, Astronomy.Psychology and Physics.
New Age has drawn on the practices, inspirations and philosophies from almost all of the Worlds major faiths without being restricted by them. There's a belief that all things are possible and that what we call science vary by what we believe that we know. The more we learn, the more we realize, we know nothing or at a minimum very little.
A few individuals do not like the term New Age, because they suspect it labels them as different from ordinary people. In Sedona, They're called WooWoo's. These folk sometimes rename these ideas as New thought , Mysticism, Age of Aquarius to name just one or two. Sedona AZ has a massive New Age community that follow almost all of this definition, but many know the New Age to be something way more than all of that and not limited to definition. It's in no fashion a faith or even a belief. It is a feeling and an inbred knowingness that we create our own fact.
You can try and label somebody that follows the New Age philosophy as strange or different and it's true they may not think with main line perspectives. From a different perspective, they may be awfully open minded to possibilities and notice that we can't know a lot. There are various levels, philosophies, and practices in the New Age culture. Some might be a little extraordinary but overall it is a practice of opening your mind to what's attainable. What you believe to be true is true for you and so it is.
