Breathtaking Gateway Attractions To Mainland China

China presents a unique mix of history and modernity that is increasingly becoming attractive to traveling enthusiasts, businessmen, students, tourists and people seeking work opportunities. The new world is rewarding to the imaginative mind. The culture and innovative way of life in this region exudes an endearing creativity and resilience. Natural and manmade features are breathtaking.

The Chinese people have proven to be ambitions by creating renowned features that rival any other in the world. A natural skyline comes out of the creation of a city to present a picturesque gateway to mainland China. It opens opportunities for people to work by expanding the economy. A perfect example is the city of Pudong in Shanghai which is breathtaking viewed from Huangpu River.

Tourists traveling the Silk Road have the option of stopping over at the Mogao Caves. This is a collection of 492 temples that covers a stretch of 25km. The site is thought to be over 1000 years old. It was used by the ancient society to store artwork and sacred scripture.

The Western region of Sichuan presents the Leshan Giant Buddha who is created out of a cliff. It is a piece of art that took thousands of workers and sculptors over 90 years to complete. Notable features include fingers that are three meters in length with the height of the figure being 71 meters.

The Yellow Mountain or Huang Mountain is situated in the Eastern region and is considered a major attractions in China. Its granite peaks are peculiarly shaped with the slopes dotting beautiful pine trees. The tourist enjoys an exciting view of clouds above. Improvements have been made with the inclusion of cable cars to ride to the top of some of these peaks.

The stretch from Yangshuo to Guilin along Li River in a cruise boat is among the most exciting experiences. Historical caves, cliffs, mountainous areas and farming villages dot this region. The natural beauty along this path offers a relaxing change from the concrete cities.

The first Emperor of China left a legacy in the form of the terracotta army. These are sculptures in three pits which continue to attract millions to China. The sculptures represent soldiers, horses and their tools of war totaling to over 8000 pieces.

Among the busiest and deepest ports in the world is Victoria Harbor. It enchants with its incredible traffic from all over the world. The speed boats, junks and ferries crisscrossing the path make Hong Kong a major business attraction. Other common sites to visit include the Great Wall of China, Potala Palace and The Forbidden City. It is a country with incredible tourism, business and work opportunities for everyone.
