Parents And Kids Discover Healthy Fun With Ambler PA Kids Gym Programs

By Jomer Tuyor

Around Ambler, Pennsylvania, there are a few gyms designed especially for kids. In Ambler PA Childrens Gymnastics is booming. Parents are encouraged to start kids very young in a structured gymnastics program. They are very flexible and have almost no fear. While the kids are having fun, they are also learning how to use their bodies and improve coordination.

Research has been done that supports the belief that kids who engage in structured physical movement have a greater chance of growing up to be adults who are well adjusted. The research calls this three dimensional learning because the activities include the following three components.

The first of the three dimensions is called get moving. Activity is not just good for the body, it is also good for the mind and spirit. Kids who are active at a young age will be predisposed to be active during their adult years. Being active aids in the development of a child and learning occurs organically.

Planned physical activity also gives the brain a boost. The child is learning and having fun at the same time, which helps inspire a love of learning. The body and the mind have a symbiotic relationship. Using the brain to teach the body to do something new develops growth in both areas. This is the second dimension, the brain boost.

The third dimension is called citizen kid. When children play in a sports activity they come to realize the importance of team effort and further accept themselves a part of a team. As a team member, what the child does has an affect on the team as a whole. As an adult they become a responsible part of their community.

As the gyms say, this is serious fun. Learning occurs on an organic level. The children are not conscious of the learning, rather it is a by product of the fun activity. Kids are open to it. There is little or no resistance, because they are just kids having fun. Three dimensional learning benefits the body, the mind and the emotions, all in the name of fun.
