Where To Hear The California Chamber Orchestra

By John Barnes

Those who have never heard a professional ensemble play are really missing out. You will be amazed by the difference between those who are fully trained and those who are just community members trying their best. This is something you'll enjoy when you hear the California chamber orchestra.

When there are so many other types of music out there, not to mention different ways to listen in which the people creating the music don't get paid nearly as much, it is hard for people who have trained their whole life to play a certain type of music to find work sometimes. This can be incredibly frustrating and limiting as far as what you do with your life and career. That is why it is a great thing that California has this chamber orchestra, so that working musicians from across the state can get into a terrific paid position.

It is good to know that there are only four concerts held a year, which is really quite a lot when you think about the fact that there is an ongoing schedule with those four concerts held every single year. Every once in a while, there will be additional performances, but this is the standard that you can expect on a normal basis. You will definitely want to check and see when these dates are so that you can catch all of the ones that you are really interested in.

The community theater where most of their shows are held in the Old Town Temecula. This makes it a little bit easier to remember for those who have never been there before. There are some occasions where they travel to different places for concerts, so you'll want to be aware of that.

Some people aren't quite sure what distinguishes a chamber orchestra from other ensembles. They may have heard terms like Philharmonic and symphony thrown around, but not know what those are either. Simply put, the latter are both generally larger than the kind of group we are talking about here.

A great thing about this group is they play all the kinds of music you would expect them to. This ranges from early Baroque into Classical. What some people don't expect is the range of contemporary music that they work in as well.

You will have a hard time finding a better way to spend the evening with your loved one. Appreciating beauty has a way of bringing people closer. You will feel like you know the person all the more deeply after the concert, even though all you were really doing was just sitting next to each other the whole time.

You will want to bring as many people as you can to these concerts. That way, the ensemble will be sure to keep up their robust schedule. It is always nice to experience this kind of thing with other people.
